The Future of Finance Starts With You Campaign (Global Brand Awareness)
On 18 March, a global advertising campaign launched in support of the Future of Finance project: A long-term global effort to shape a trustworthy, forward-thinking financial industry that better serves society. The advertisements introduce this important initiative and direct their audience to the Future of Finance hub (http://cfainstitute.org/FutureFinance) where they can learn about the project and how they can play a role.
Look for these digital advertisements through July on major websites such as Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, the Economist, Financial Times, and Business Insider.
CIPM Advertising Campaign
On 29 April, a campaign launched to promote the newly enhanced CIPM program. Digital and print advertisements will run through the end of July to support the October 2013 exam registration. These ads will be featured in the Journal of Financial Planning, the Journal of Performance Management, and the Journal of Accountancy as well as on sites such as LinkedIn and Seeking Alpha.
Claritas Advertising Campaign
From mid-May through July a digital Claritas Advertising Campaign will be running globally to create awareness of and generate interest in the Claritas Investment Certificate. Look for Claritas advertisements on over 50 sites worldwide, including
Barron’s, Pensions & Investments, LinkedIn, Financial Times, People Management, Smart Investor, and Human Capital.
Past 2013 Advertising Initiatives
New Charterholder Recognition Campaign
In 2012, CFA Institute welcomed the 50th class which included over 10,903 new charterholders. To recognize their outstanding accomplishment, CFA Institute ran a week-long advertising campaign in February and created a new webpage dedicated to the newest class. Advertisements ran in The Economist, Financial Times, Globe and Mail, and the Wall Street Journal as well as on various websites including Economist.com, Bloomberg.com, and Facebook.
China and India (CFA Program Awareness)
CFA Program awareness advertisements ran in both India and China from late January through mid-March 2013 in order to increase awareness of the CFA Program and communicate the value of having a CFA designation to graduates and young professionals in these markets. These campaigns also aimed to solidify the CFA charter as the gold standard globally in the finance and investment industry.
The Integrity List Campaign (Global Brand Awareness)
From November to early December 2012, CFA Institute ran print and digital advertisements centered around the Integrity List. This campaign promoted our bolder voice and message: Restore trust and integrity in the investment industry. The integrity list puts an immediate focus on this overarching theme and is a powerful statement that offers our audience immediate, tangible steps to join us in our mission to serve the greater good of society.
