Marketing Executive
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver all marketing collateral and campaigns to support the EMEA office, including concept development, design, content, budget, vendor selection, production, and distribution. The incumbent will work to implement schemes to support candidate, employer, society, and member outreach within the region and promotion of CFA Institute
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing scheme to support and promote CFA Institute conferences and executive education programs within the EMEA region through a variety of communications including e-mail, advertisements, direct mail, newsletters, and exhibitions
- Support the marketing relationship with CFA Institute educational partners
- Manage the delivery of brand and product trade advertising and trade show presence as well as organizational presence at trade and industry events
- Source and maintain a database of EMEA-based non-member constituent groups such as employers, training managers, etc.
- Help with office administrative work and projects from time to time, including assistance with one-off projects and department metrics
Position requires:
- University degree in marketing or related field
- Experience in writing marketing briefs
- Ability to deliver against budgets and deadlines
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in working with external agencies
- Sensitivity to, and awareness of, cultural differences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with an e-mail management system preferred
- Proficiency in a second language a plus
Director, Education
Job Summary
The Director, Education oversees all aspects of Education in the EMEA region. The position is mainly responsible for developing educational products and partnerships that meet the needs of regional members, as part of the organization’s Lifelong Learning objectives. The position also focuses on promoting the CFA and CIPM programs while working in a matrix organization.
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop localized educational content and products for members in the EMEA region
- Serve as a secondary (matrix) reporting manager for other education staff in EMEA (e.g. content specialists)
- Assist in the development of the CFA and CIPM curriculum and examinations
- Develop outreach activities to promote the CFA Program and CIPM Program in the EMEA Region
- Build and maintain relationships with local societies to promote the Lifelong Learning Strategy
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as appropriate or as assigned by the manager
Position requires:
- Related bachelors degree required; Advanced degree in an investment-related discipline strongly preferred
- CFA Charter required
- Proven experience as a practitioner in the industry
- Proven business development and relationship management experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and persuasive communication and presentation skills
- Quality leadership skills
- Experience in the educational marketplace strongly preferred, in an academic or similar role
- Extensive travel throughout the EMEA region is required
Administrative Assistant
Job responsibilities include:
- Assist in the coordination of communications, events, and meetings, including preparing and sending out mailings, handling invitation mailshots, and receiving, recording, and classifying the responses
- Provide meeting support and administration, including arranging conference calls, organizing rooms, and coordinating diaries
- Provide administrative support to allocated managers, including filing expenses, managing diaries, and arranging meetings
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements for staff, including overseas travel, negotiating program sequences, and drafting itineraries
- Monitor allocated managers’ phones, voicemails, and e-mails
- Provide data entry support to allocated staff and managers
Position requires:
- Secondary school education leading to minimum 6 GCSEs and 2 ‘A’ levels
- Administration training leading to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and office systems and practices including filing, record storage techniques, and good typing skills
- Minimum three years experience in the development of good client-oriented skills formed from regular dealing with external clients, plus experience working for senior management
- Excellent organizational, office management, and interpersonal skills
- Writing and drafting ability
- Note-taking and recording capacity
- Good customer service and relationship management capability
- Proficiency in IT, software packages, and equipment in use at CFA Institute
- Strong diary management, expense management, travel management, time management, and filing competencies
- Experience using content management packages and data management systems is an advantage
