In The Wall Street Journal: Some public comments are in favor of changes regarding the disclosure of conflicts. Many of the proposed changes will alert investors to potential conflicts of interest and allow them "to evaluate for themselves whether the conflicts are being satisfactorily resolved," writes Kurt Schacht, executive director of the CFA Institute Centre for Financial Market Integrity, and Linda Rittenhouse, the institute's senior policy analyst, in a comment letter.

In Financial Planning: "The jury is still out about performance of SRI funds in general," says Stephen Horan, head of private wealth and investor education at the CFA Institute. "Both sides can cite studies to support their case." Not surprisingly, of those that do, some have underperformed and others have outperformed the broader market.
