Acting on Our Mission

 

Promoting high standards of ethics, integrity, and professional excellence is at the core of our mission at CFA Institute. We do that with our codes, best practice guidelines, and standards, which guide the investment industry and place clients' interests first.

 

The foundation of all the work the Centre does is our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct (Code and Standards).

 

Our other standards and guidelines further strengthen the industry with focused recommendations in key areas, such as investment performance and research objectivity. Our research informs investors and offers best practices on industry issues.

  

Call for Comments:

CFA Institute is currently conducting a periodic review of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct as well as the accompanying Standards of Practice Handbook.   The draft is open for public comment through 19 November.
