Policy Groups

 

The CFA Institute Centre staff is divided into five groups with topical experts and resources in five global offices to maximize our focus on local and regional issues.

 

Capital Markets Policy Group

Fosters the integrity of the capital markets through its work as a thought leader on issues, such as investor protections, shareowners' rights, and corporate governance, that promotes fair and efficient capital markets.

Financial Reporting Policy Group

Works to improve the consistency, clarity, and transparency of corporate financial reporting and disclosures and enhance financial statement presentation.

Investment Performance Policy Group

Promotes and maintains the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) as the global standard for the fair representation and full disclosure of investment performance information.  

Standards of Practice Group

Develops, maintains, and provides education on our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and other recommended best practices for the investment industry.

Member and Society Relations Policy Group

Manages communications with and educational and advocacy support of CFA Institute members and local societies.
