Religious Alternate Date
If you have a religious obligation or beliefs that prevent you from taking the exam on the regularly scheduled exam date, we will arrange for you to sit for the exam on the alternate date at your registered test center.
Deadlines:
- December 2009: 22 September 2009
- June 2010: 23 March 2010
To request the alternate date, you must be registered for a standard exam date and submit the Religious Alternate Date Form (PDF). Your completed form must be received by CFA Institute at least 75 days before exam day. We will confirm your request via e-mail.
Returning Candidates: If you have previously submitted the Religious Alternate Date Form for religious beliefs, you don't need to fill out the form again; however, you must let us know you intend to sit for the exam on the alternate date at least 75 days before exam day. To do so, follow these steps:
- Contact us (user name and password required)
- Select "CFA Program" from the drop-down list in the "I have an inquiry about" field
- Select "Religious Alternate Date" from the drop-down list in the "Specifically" field
- Indicate that you have previously submitted the Religious Alternate Date Form in the comment section
