Purpose of Conference
This program will provide attendees insights into how to succeed at managing and advancing their careers through strategic job transition and professional skill development. Sessions on networking and presentation skills benefit professionals at every career stage and sessions on strategic job searching and recruiting trends will prepare professionals for current or future job transition experiences. This conference will also afford attendees invaluable opportunities to network with peers, recruiters, and professional career strategists.

About the Presenters
Marshall Brown, president of Marshall Brown & Associates, is a certified executive and career coach and personal brand strategist. Marshall brings a significant amount of knowledge and experience in coaching, branding, business, marketing, and leadership to his work with individual and organizational clients. His clients include association executives, lawyers, health care professionals, CEOs, and business entrepreneurs. Marshall is the past board president of the DC Chapters of both the International Coach Federation and the Association of Career Professionals International. Marshall has a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and is certified by the International Coach Federation, Coaches Training Institute, and Career Coaches Institute.
Janice R. Worthington is founder and president of Worthington Career Services, a nationally recognized career coaching firm for executives and professionals. Janice is known for advising some of America’s highest-ranking industry leaders and has assisted over 43,000 clients in all aspects of job search, portfolio presentation, search strategies, interview methodologies, and job offer negotiations. She is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer and Internationally Certified Job & Career Transition Coach. She has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox-TV affiliates and served as America Online Résumé Strategies Consultant. As the Career Columnist for Business First of Columbus her articles appear monthly and she serves as career coach at CareerBoard.com. She has also been featured in Top 100 Strategies to Recession-Proof Your Career, Business Week Online, Kiplingers.com, Techies.com, Jobspectrum.org, and Carerknowhow.com. Janice holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in journalism from Miami University.
Dave Underhill works with individuals, groups, and organizations to help them grow their business through clear, concise, and compelling presentations. His company, Underhill Training and Development, was founded in 1992 and has offices in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. Clients include companies such as Microsoft, NIKE, Sharp, Bank of America, LexisNexis, Credit Suisse First Boston, Enterprise IG, U.S. Bank, Laird Norton Tyee, Verizon, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Dave also coaches startup CEOs on their investor presentations. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum, Software Association of Oregon, and The Nature Conservancy. Dave has a BS from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
