About the Program
Presented by ICMA Centre at the University of Reading, the International
Capital Market Association, and CFA Institute, the International Fixed
Income and Derivatives (IFID) Programme offers continuing education that
places strong emphasis on practical skills based on a thorough
understanding of valuation principles and the relationships between the
cash and the derivatives markets. During this week-long residential
session, top professionals from the ICMA Centre and leading financial
institutions offer participants a broad and in-depth study of the key
fixed income instruments, derivatives, and markets.
The programme is primarily intended for client or market facing
positions in fixed income within a bank or fund manager, although is
becoming increasingly popular with middle-office and operations managers
who require greater product and market knowledge. Upon successful
completion of the IFID examination, participants will be awarded the ICMA
IFID Certificate by ICMA and the University of Reading.
