Overview of Managing Private Wealth Clients
In the Managing Private Wealth Clients module, you will learn the skills required to effectively advise high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) through each stage of the client advisory lifecycle. You will explore how to develop a goals-based Investment Policy Statement (IPS), create tailored investment proposals, deliver persuasive proposal meetings, and conduct performance reviews that build long-term trust.
Private wealth management requires a combination of technical financial knowledge, emotional intelligence, and behavioral coaching skills. This course provides a practical, scenario-based experience—developed using insights from practicing wealth managers—to help you build or refine your ability to deliver personalized advice that aligns with clients’ financial goals and life priorities.
In this module, you will take the role of a wealth advisor guiding a newly liquid client through investment planning. You will practice constructing cash flow models, managing behavioral finance biases, using Excel for asset allocation optimization, and visualizing data to influence investment decisions.
