Sustainable Investing Certificate Usage Guide

CFA Institute is the sponsor of the Sustainable Investing Certificate.

To assist those who have earned the Sustainable Investing Certificate with proper trademark usage, CFA Institute has developed the guide below. Please consult and follow this guide when preparing resumes, social media profiles, promotional literature, signage, and all other forms of printed, electronic, and written communications.   1. The Sustainable Investing Certificate should not be used as a designation.

    Once you have been officially notified by CFA Institute that you have passed the examination, you have the right to make the following statement: “Awarded the Sustainable Investing Certificate.” The Sustainable Investing Certificate should not be used after an individual’s name, or to describe an individual.

    John Smith, Sustainable Investing Certificate

    John Smith, ESG

    John Smith, CFA ESG Investing

    Proper

    John Smith earned the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.

    John Smith holds the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.

  2. Add the Sustainable Investing Certificate to your resume or CV and online profile. On LinkedIn, please reference it in the Certifications section as Sustainable Investing Certificate. The certifying body is CFA Institute.
