The alternative investments space has grown by leaps and bounds in India. Funds operating in this space has increased from just 21 in 2012 to more than 900 now. They include independents as well as those promoted by large asset managers – and together they manage funds in excess of INR600 billion. As the space continues to grow, so does its requirement for skilled professionals. CFA is a much sought after credential for this industry because of its focus on multiple asset classes and its analytical rigour.

Mr. Rajesh Kothari is the visionary Founder & Managing Director of AlfAccurate Advisors (AAA) & the driving force behind making AAA one of India’s most respected, award-winning investment management firms. He has 25+ years of experience in the Indian capital market with deep expertise in Long Only & Long Short investment strategy. He is also a distinguished market expert on CNBC TV18, TimesNow & Bloomberg, and has also been a keynote speaker at several international conferences and summits. Prior to founding AAA, Rajesh was a Fund Manager at DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers where his fund won several prestigious awards. Rajesh himself was rated as “Platinum Fund Manager” by The Economic Times in 2006. Prior to joining DSP Merrill Lynch, Rajesh was the Director of Voyager Investment Advisors, a USA based India dedicated fund. Rajesh is deeply involved with ‘Arham Yuva Seva Group’- an organisation committed to solving some of the most pressing issues faced by today’s youth.

Litesh Gada is extremely passionate about equity investments and has almost 15 years of professional experience in private equity, investment management, direct tax (advisory), mergers and acquisitions (tax and regulatory), and corporate finance. He has rich and in-depth knowledge in valuation, investment structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and transfer pricing. Gada has hands-on experience in the entire investment process from deal initiation until disbursement of money to the companies. He has been responsible for monitoring and handholding portfolio companies on a regular basis. Gada’s core expertise is to assist midsize and small companies that have growth potential in raising funds and scaling operations. Gada is a CFA® charterholder, chartered accountant (CA), and company secretary (CS). He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce from Mumbai University.
